We are seeking for the position of an Economic Development Facilitator, located in Siem Reap.
One of our programmes is the German Technical Cooperation programs financed by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development supports government, private sector and civil society stakeholders in the province of Siem Reap to promote economic development and poverty alleviation.
To link the rural poor to the opportunities of the growing economy in Siem Reap, the Cambodian-German Cooperation Program "Regional Economic Development (RED) – Green Belt" follows a market driven approach. The program aims at a growing turnover of regional products, the development of new business opportunities, and increased employment.
The Economic Development Facilitator facilitates the implementation of measures in the area of local and regional economic development. He/She facilitates the implementation of investment and trade promotion measures, as well as the institutionalization of business development services (BDS) and other private sector promotion instruments.
