Médecins sans Frontières is a medical and humanitarian organization that provides assistance to population in distress, victims of natural and man-made disasters and to victims of armed conflict irrespective of race, religion, creed or political convictions. Currently MSF runs two projects in Cambodia: (1) one in Phnom Penh to improve medical care of HIV / TB patients in 2 Phnom Penh prisons (2) one TB program in Kampong Cham Province, to improve detection and medical care of Tuberculosis (TB) patients. In 2012 MSF has expanded its activities to the OD level in Cheoung Prey OD and Kampong Cham/ Kampong Siem OD. The decentralization activities allow MSF to link the District and Provincial Referral Hospitals on the 2 mentioned OD’s to their attached OD HC’s.
