The Siphandone, Stung Treng, Kratie (SSK) is an area that stretches along the Mekong River from Kratie province into Lao PDR with exceptionally rich biodiversity and natural resources. Within this context WWF-Cambodia is looking for a qualified Provincial Conservation Planning Coordinator who will have the important role to ensure good communication and engagement with Provincial Authorities as well as with the Fisheries Administration, Forestry Administration and Dolphin Commission. The person will help strengthen ing the capacity of key provincial, district, and commune officials to participate in conservation planning, consultation, and the analysis of impacts from development proposals. The person will be also responsible for the management, implementation, monitoring and reporting of specific WWF projects that will aim to integrate biodiversity conservation projects within sustainable land-use and landscape planning mechanisms. The position is to be based in Kratie.
