World Renew seeks a Cambodian National to fill the position on Environment Intern from July 1 to December 31, 2013. This is a voluntary temporary position for six (6) months with a monthly stipend of up to $200 per month. This is primarily an opportunity for the right person to obtain on-the-job experiences that will be a credit for their resume.
In this position the intern will have the opportunity to learn about integrated community development work, in particular the community organizing process, as well as World Renew in Cambodia’s approach to working in the various sectors. The intern will work side by side with a Canadian intern as part of a multicultural team environment. The intern will have the chance to learn about facilitation and adult learning methods and will also be able to practice their English, both verbal and written.
