RECOFTC – The Center for People and Forests holds a unique and important place in the world of forestry. It is the only international not-for-profit organization that specializes in capacity building for community forestry and devolved forest management. RECOFTC is implementing a four-year Cambodia Supporting Forests and Biodiversity (SFB) Project funded by USAID through a consortium led by Winrock focusing principally on the implementation of capacity building and awareness raising incl. technical training and support for government staff and civil society on community based forest management (CBFM) and promote socially inclusive forest enterprise and socially equitable REDD+ benefit sharing in the Prey Lang Landscape. RECOFTC is currently seeking qualified and committed professional(s) to fill the following positions, all based in Kampong Thom province:
- Provincial Community Forestry Partnership Coordinator
- Provincial Community Forestry Partnership Officer – Kampong Thom and Preah Vihear
- Provincial Community Forestry Partnership Officer – Kratie and Stung Treng
Under overall guidance of the Center for People and Forests (RECOFTC) Country Program Coordinator (CPC) and direct supervision of the Community Forestry Partnership Coordinator (CFPC) of RECOFTC Cambodia:
- Provincial Community Forestry Partnership Coordinator (PCFPC) is responsible for overall planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating, coordinating, and reporting SFB project’s community forestry and related field activities in the 4 Provinces (Kampong Thom, Preah Vihear, Kratie and Stung Treng Provinces) covering Prey Lang Landscape (PLL) as per approved project work plan..
- The Provincial Community Forestry Partnership Officer (PCFPO) is responsible for assisting the Provincial Community Forestry Partnership Coordinator (PCFPC) in planning, implementing, monitoring, evaluating, coordinating and reporting SFB project’s community forestry and related field activities in Kampong Thom and Preah Vihear Provinces as per approved project work plan.
- The Provincial Community Forestry Partnership Officer (PCFPO) is responsible for assisting the Provincial Community Forestry Partnership Coordinator (PCFPC) in planning, implementing, monitoring, evaluating, coordinating and reporting SFB project’s community forestry and related field activities in Kratie and Stung Treng Provinces as per approved project work plan.
