Catholic Relief Services (CRS) was founded in 1943 by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops to assist the poor and disadvantaged. CRS returned to Cambodia in 1991 and currently works in the sectors of Health, Education, and Sustainable Livelihoods (including agriculture, civil participation, and natural resource management), with approximately 20 local partners. A head office is located in Phnom Penh with small sub‐office in Kampot. CRS Cambodia is the hub office for Southeast Asian programming, including Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, and other outreach countries.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Finance Officer (60% effort for Operations) is responsible for accurate and effective financial transactions and financial administrative tasks such as release and receipt of bank/cash payment and receipts transactions, liaison with external stakeholders on any required documentation, data entry into SUN system and filing system. The position will work closely with Finance Officer (Operations) to ensure that every financial transaction is completed appropriately and that they are entered into SUN system accurately and timely. The other 40% efforts of this position main responsibility are to assist the works on grant management to Senior Finance Officers including reviewing supporting documents, monitoring visit and report preparation. The position is based in Phnom Penh with infrequent travel to the fields.
