Oxfam America is an international relief and development organization working with partners to find long-term solutions to global poverty and injustice. We are seeking to appoint a Business Development Officer to lead on a unique project in Cambodia.
Over the last few years, Oxfam partners have designed and proven a handheld weeding machine that is effective in greatly increasing rice crop yields and in reducing time labouring in the field. The Business Development Officer will have the opportunity to take this machine beyond development and establish it in the rural market so that women and men striving to make a livelihood on small holdings are able to access the machine at an affordable price. This will involve development and implementation of a dynamic business development strategy that addresses both the demand side and the supply side of the market.
