PADEK is a Non-Profit Organization working in several provinces across Cambodia is aiming to promote Livelihood Enhancement of the extreme poor and the most vulnerable households in the rural community of Cambodia through three-main programme strategy components (community saving, on-farm and off-farm production and disaster risk reduction, climate change and adaptation and emergency response. Through the Office of Foreign Disaster Assistance of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID OFDA) has signed a grant agreement with the Asian Disaster Preparedness Centre (ADPC) to implement a 24 months project titled “Strengthening Emergency Response Capacity of Humanitarian NGOs in Cambodia”. The project activities has been implementing at national level and some training activities will be carried out in 3 most disaster prone provinces (Prey Veng, Kratie and Kampong Thom) and 6 districts in Cambodia to be decided based on the consultation meetings with the PADEK and local NGOs. As per the project modality with this specific project, ADPC & PADEK will work with local NGOs in close collaboration with other partners such as National Committee for Disaster Management & Royal University of Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
As per the MOA between PADEK and ADPC, PADEK is seeking qualified person to fulfill the position of Cambodian Humanitarian Forum Coordinator to coordinate project activities in Cambodia with ADPC project based at the CHF secretariat in PADEK Office in Phnom Penh.
