Health Service Coordinator:Adverse Events, Health Service Officer (Mobile Birth Spacing), and Medical Detailing Officer

In line with its vision, PSI/Cambodia has evolved into a Cambodian organization, Population Services Khmer (PSK). PSK is an independent, local non-government organization that was registered with the Cambodian Ministry of Interior. PSK’s mission is to improve the health of low-income and vulnerable Cambodians through social marketing in collaboration with the Royal Government of Cambodia. PSK will have an organic and sustained connection with PSI and will benefit from the global network to promote life-saving products, services and communications to help Cambodians lead healthier lives.

We are seeking highly-motivated, customer-oriented, results-focused, and change-driven talents for the following position:

  1. Health Service Coordinator: Adverse Events, Cambodian national only, 1 full-time position
  2. Health Service Officer (Mobile Birth Spacing), Cambodian national only, 6 full-time positions
  3. Medical Detailing Officer, Cambodian national only, 1 full-time position

HEALTH SERVICE COORDINATOR: ADVERSE EVENTS

HS Coordinator: Adverse Events (AE) is responsible for documenting all adverse events, complications, and other events related to PSK’s products and services, following up with PSK staffs that are liaised with clients and providers to obtain the most up-to-date information, and sharing this information with all members of the Adverse Events Committee. S/he is also accountable for:

  • Maintaining the AE Tracker and ensuring that cases are closed, documentation is completed, and appropriate follow-up activities related to platform QA are conducted;
  • Documenting and tracking all expenditures related to AEs/complications/cases;
  • Preparing quarterly analyses of all AEs/complications/cases, including financial analyses and common themes identification. Analyses will be presented to the Health Services Director for review and comment.  After finalizing these reports, HS Coordinator: AE will present quarterly to the AE Committee.


HEALTH SERVICE OFFICER (MOBILE BIRTH SPACING)

HS Officer (MBS) plays a critical role in coaching/supervising franchise networks (sun) and private providers (IUD networks) through practical Training Event Days (TED) and Supportive Supervision Visit (SSV), in order to support regular birth spacing services delivery with high quality to poor and vulnerable women in reproductive age.

S/he is responsible for planning, scaling-up, managing, supervising, and re-supplying any necessary commodity and/or medical equipment/supplies as needed; reporting and monitoring on the regularly basis for the networks providers. S/he has to coordinate partnerships with NGO, community mobilizers (CMs), community volunteers and private sector partners (franchise providers, private clinics, and other public facilities etc.) to manage the organizing of Supportive Supervision Visit (SSV), Training Event Days (TEDs), mobile birth spacing services, and demand creation at the facilities catchments area which need to be in compliance with PSK’s quality standards and procedures (infection prevention, method choice counselling etc.).

MEDICAL DETAILING OFFICER

Medical Detailing Officer will advance the goals of PSK’s Malaria Program to ensure registered private health providers follow correct case management procedures and have a clear understanding of PSK’s malaria products as well as products under the other health areas by:

  • Supportive supervision: building mutual beneficial and respectful relationship with (i) Sun Quality Health Network providers (SQHN), (ii) providers within the Malaria Private Public Mix network, (iii) other registered non-network private sector providers, and (iv) Plantation Malaria Workers embedded in plantations;
  • Behavior change: employing behavior change communication techniques to motivate providers in the network listed above to adopt the desired behaviors.
