FINANCIAL LITERACY

KAPE is a well-established and fast-growing NGO working across Cambodia to develop the capacity of schools to deliver life skills programming. KAPE is implementing a one-year grant from Barclay’s Bank (through our partner Aflatoun) with the possibility of multiple extensions to deliver a life skills curriculum in financial literacy. The name of this program is Aflateen.The curriculum is based on the well-recognized financial literacy program developed by Aflatoun for the basic education cycle. International travel to attend regional Aflatoun meetings will be required. A Technical Program Officer with both financial literacy and training experience is required to implement this project in schools that are also supported under KAPE’s Girls’ Education Initiative.

KAPE is a well established and fast-growing NGO working across Cambodia to develop the capacity of schools to deliver an education of quality. KAPE has a main office in Kampong Cham and four field offices that require technical support for the maintenance and improvement of its IT support network used by staff. This includes the oversight and maintenance of laptops, desktops, printers, communications hub and email system, and other aspects of IT support in the office. KAPE works with its partner World Education to set up computer labs in state schools and the selected candidate will need to support these efforts, including the installation of new labs using thin client technology.
