CAFOD, one of the UK’s leading international development agencies, is currently recruiting a Programme Officer for Timor Leste / Indonesia with regional knowledge and experience in development work who can work in partnership with local organisations.
We are looking for development worker with proven experience in programme cycle management, assessing proposals and reports, strategic planning and capacity building of local partners. Candidates should have a commitment to work in partnership along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills that will enable you to build and hold relationships with a broad range of stakeholders in Timor Leste and Indonesia.
Working as part of the South East Asia team the post-holder should have knowledge and experience of Timor Leste and Indonesia and demonstrates sectoral knowledge of CAFOD’s four key thematic areas (sustainable livelihoods, conflict and peace-building, HIV and AIDS and economic justice).
The post is based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia with potential overseas travel at short notice and to insecure areas, can communicate, speak and written English fluently.
