The Rattan Forestry Project Officer will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager and WWF supporting team in the planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting of the IKEA phase III supported project activities “Establishing a Sustainable Production System for Rattan Products in Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam”. This will include the monitoring and supervision of all counterparts related to the project and the management of an activity budget. Project activities will involve occasional trips to remote field locations to support the field surveys, workshops and meetings. The Rattan Forestry Project Officer will provide technical assistance to the IKEA supported project on activities related to Forest and NTFP resources management and community based forest management group both inside and outside WWF project sites.
