GVC is an independent organization that has been working towards a better, more equitable and fair world for the past 40 years. It is based in Italy with a branch office in Siem Reap – Cambodia where has been working since 2006. GVC has chosen international cooperation as a means to carry out development and humanitarian aid projects in favor of the dispossessed and those stricken by wars and natural disasters. Purpose of Job
Facilitating the implementation of the MIGRA-SAFE Project in the Province of Battambang–according to necessity also in Siem Reap and Benteay Meanchey Provinces- in order to tackle human trafficking and irregular migration by ensuring the largest participation of local stakeholders and beneficiaries, the collaboration of local authorities and the correct execution of the activities forecasted by the Project.

A National Consulting Firm/Organization to Conduct a Testing and Provide Trainings on Internal Management System of Rice Milling Business in Cambodia
SNV Netherlands Development Organisation is a not for profit international organisation that specialises in capacity development support to government, non-government and private sector organisations. SNV aims to achieve impact by providing advisory services, facilitating knowledge development, networking, strengthening local capacity builders, and carrying out advocacy at national and international levels. SNV is committed to reduction of poverty through advisory services especially in Agriculture, Water, Sanitation & Hygiene and Renewable Energy sectors.
Currently, SNV Cambodia is implementing the EU SWITCH-ASIA funded project entitled “Waste to Energy for the Rice Milling Sector in Cambodia (WtE)” for 4 years starting from January 2012 to December 2015 with the overall goal to promote sustainable growth, contribute to economic prosperity and poverty reduction and to mitigate negative effects of climate change by enhancing competitiveness of the rice milling sector through increased uptake of environmentally responsible Waste to Energy (WtE) technologies.
One of the project’s major activities is to transfer rice husk to energy through promotion of standardized and regulated rice husk gasifier technology in the rice milling sector. The target beneficiaries for WtE project include rice miller members of Federation of Cambodian Rice Millers Association (FCRMA) and rice husk gasifier manufacturers.
SNV Cambodia is exploring for a Local Capacity Builder (LCB) to carry out testing and training in Internal Management System to small-medium rice millers with the deliverables and tasks below.
